TRUFANT, Mich. (WZZM) - A White Pigeon man was arrested early Thursday morning after breaking into a Trufant home and being caught by the homeowner.

Montcalm County Sheriff's Deputies were investigating a call of a man entering the tents of a local flea market and breaking into a vehicle.  Investigators found that money was missing from vendors at the flea market.

Meanwhile, Tony Sorenson told police that he was checking out noises in his home when he found the 37-year-old White Pigeon man on the lower floor.  Sorenson grabbed the man and took him outside, where Sheriff's patrol cars were searching the area for the suspect.

The suspect matched the description of the suspect from the flea market and a large amount of cash was seized from him.  He was arrested on numerous charges.  His name will be released after arraignment.
