NEWAYGO, Mich. (WZZM) - A former Baldwin firefighter has been charged with forgery and embezzlement by a public official.
Gary Simmons, 39, turned himself in to Lake County Court Thursday and was arraigned on the two charges. Simmons had been let go from the department earlier.
Michigan State Police led the investigation of Simmons.
