ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (WZZM)- Allegan County health officials are asking visitors to stay out of the water at two beaches that failed recent water tests.
The environmental health director says e-coli counts at West Side County Park and Laketown Township Park were higher than what the state considers safe.
Health officials are asking the public to avoid water contact to their face, mouth, nose or ears. They plan to retest the water and will life the advisory when the levels drop.
