Power outages in West Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- About 20,000 Consumers Energy customers in Michigan are without power, because of high winds. 

In West Michigan, the outages are impacting 227 customers in Allegan County, 1,880 in Kent County, 768 in Ottawa County, 591 in Newaygo County and 826 in Muskegon County.

A spokesman for Consumers Energy says crews are working to restore the service as soon as possible.  It is anticipated service may be restored around midnight.
