East Grand Rapids (WZZM)-- Barbie Designable Hair Extensions are the latest Barbie accessory - printable, designable hair extensions that you and Barbie can both wear.
The first step is to go to the website, www.barbie.com/designerhair. You can pick and choose all sorts of colorful designs.
The hair extensions come on a piece of paper you load into your printer, and when they come out, long locks of hair have your custom design.
They're for little girls age 6 and up, but an adult will have to get things started. Lila Nargi helped me out and she soon impressed me how easy it was for her to work through the website and print the hair extensions all by herself.
The hair clips that come with the extensions are a bit tricky. You may want to just use bobby pins. If you have a future fashioniesta or hair stylist in your family, the Barbie Designable Hair Extensions are a lot of fun.
We found them at Toys R Us for around $10.
