ORLANDO, Fla. (WZZM) - Dr. Bernard Taylor is a candidate for another superintendent position in Florida just one week after the district granted him an academic leave of absence.

The Orlando Sentinel reports Taylor is one of 21 applicants to lead the Orange County School District. It's the 10th largest district in the nation with 181,000 students.

Taylor has sought several leadership positions in other school districts including Syracuse, Cleveland, and Broward County, Florida.
