UPDATE: Muskegon accident shuts down Apple Ave.

UPDATE (6:00 P.M.)-- Muskegon County dispatchers say a semi truck and car were involved in an accident on Apple Avenue, between Swanson Road and Moorland Road. 

Dispatchers say the semi veered into a ditch.  A portion of the road was closed for about two hours as crews pulled the semi out of the ditch. 

No one was injured in the crash.

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM)- Muskegon County Sheriff's Department says Apple Avenue, between Swanson Road and Moorland Road was closed this afternoon due to an accident.

No other details are being released at this time.
