UPDATE: Power outages due to early morning snowfall

UPDATE (6:00 P.M.)-- A Consumers Energy spokeswoman said power should be fully restored to all Michigan customers by 6 p.m. Saturday.

KENT & MUSKEGON CO., Mich. (WZZM)- Consumers Energy says there are thousands without power at this time, due to the heavy snow that fell across West Michigan on Saturday.

In Kent County, 2,100 customers are without power and in Muskegon County 2,890 customers are experiencing an outage.

Consumers says it has no timetable as to when power will be restored.
