GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- There is more money available in the effort to provide better education for under-privledged children in Grand Rapids.
The Wallace Foundation, a national education charity, presented the city with a $765,000 grant.
The group Our Community's Children announced its intentions for the money at a news conference at city hall Wednesday afternoon.
The grant will be used to make sure after-school educational programs will be available to children in the Grand Rapids area.
