MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - Three Grant area teens face criminal charges in Muskegon County Juvenile Court for pressuring another teenager to perform sex acts on himself.
Prosecutor Tim Maat says the alleged victim is autistic, and that one of the teens recorded the act with his cell phone at a Muskegon County residence.
Several students tell police they watched the cell phone video inside Grant High School in late November. Police seized the phone and other evidence through a search warrant shortly after the crime was reported.
The investigation started after school officials notified the Grant Police Department. The investigation grew to include the Michigan State Police, and the offices of the Muskegon and Newaygo county prosecutors.
The three charged teens -- whose names are not being released -- face one felony count of accosting and soliciting a minor child for immoral purposes. The charges were filled Thursday in Muskegon County Juvenile Court.
According to police reports obtained by WZZM 13 News, the victim was pressured into masturbating, putting a plunger in his rectum, and possibly taking a pill believed to be Viagra. Police reports state this happened after two of the teens charged smoked marijuana and while the group watched internet pornography.
The teens charged are expected to appear in juvenile court in Muskegon County in the next ten days.
