eight blocks, as the Magic downed the Cavaliers, 102-94, on Friday. Jason
Richardson added 19 points and Hedo Turkoglu had 18 for the Magic, who
have won two straight on the heels of a season-high four-game skid. Ryan
Anderson finished with 17 points and eight rebounds. Alonzo Gee scored a
career-high 20 points in defeat. Kyrie Irving had 18, Antawn Jamison added
16 and 12 rebounds, and Ramon Sessions chipped in 14 for the Cavaliers. They

as the Miami Heat used a dominant fourth quarter to take a 99-79 decision over
the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center. LeBron James added 19 points
and 12 rebounds for the Heat, who rebounded from a 105-97 defeat at the
hands of the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday with their ninth straight regular
season victory over Philadelphia. Thaddeus Young paced the Sixers with 16
points off the bench, while Jodie Meeks and Lou Williams contributed 13
points apiece as Philadelphia closed out a season-long, seven-game homestand
with a 5-2 record.

balanced offensive attack as the Toronto Raptors handled the Washington
Wizards, 106-89, at Air Canada Centre. Amir Johnson had a double-double
with 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Linas Kleiza had 15 points and
James Johnson donated 13 for the Raptors, who bounced back nicely after an
ugly 100-64 loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. DeMar DeRozan added
11 points and seven rebounds and Jose Calderon chipped in with 17 assists.
Nick Young led the Wizards with 21 points and John Wall finished with 15
points and five rebounds. Trevor Booker added 13 points and seven boards for
Washington, which has dropped three straight.

straight entering Friday's matchup with the Bucks, who were in the midst of a
season-long three-game win streak. Then, something gave. Behind a career-high
26 points from Brandon Knight, Detroit halted its slide with an 88-80
victory. Greg Monroe added 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Tayshaun Prince
finished with 13 points and nine boards. The Bucks, who were coming off of
Wednesday's comeback win over the Heat, were paced by Brandon Jennings' 20
points. Shaun Livingston had 14 and Ersan Ilyasova chipped in nine and 12
rebounds.

with 1:23 remaining, as the Minnesota Timberwolves held off the New Jersey
Nets, 108-105. Nikola Pekovic added 27 points and 11 rebounds for the
Timberwolves, who have won three in a row on the road for the first time since
April 3-8, 2009. Kevin Love also had a double-double with 20 points and 10
boards. Anthony Morrow ended with a career-high 42 points for the Nets, who
have lost three of four. Morrow went 8-for-11 from beyond the arc.
Deron Williams tallied 12 points and 14 assists, while Kris Humphries added

double-digit scoring with 16 points, as the Rockets used their balanced attack
to beat the Phoenix Suns, 99-81. Luis Scola had 14 points and eight rebounds
for Houston, which halted a two-game slide. Chase Budinger, Patrick
Patterson and Courtney Lee each contributed 12 points off the bench,
while Chandler Parsons and Goran Dragic scored 10 points apiece. Marcin
Gortat recorded a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Suns,
who have dropped five of seven.

the go-ahead three-pointer in the final minute, as the Oklahoma City Thunder
rallied late to take down the Memphis Grizzlies, 101-94, on Friday. Durant
also had 10 rebounds -- all in the second half -- while James Harden netted
24 points and Russell Westbrook contributed 21 in the Thunder's second
straight win and their sixth in their last seven contests. Marc Gasol paced
the Grizzlies with 24 points and Rudy Gay netted 23 in Memphis' fifth
loss in seven games.

route to a career-high 30 points to go with nine rebounds and five assists,
leading the Indiana Pacers to a 98-87 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at
American Airlines Center. David West finished with 20 points and six boards,
while Danny Granger added 16 points and five rebounds for the Pacers, who
won in Dallas for the first time since January 9, 2004 -- a seven game
skid. Darren Collison donated 13 points and six assists in the victory.
Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks with 30 points and seven rebounds, while Vince
Carter contributed 14 points and five assists. Jason Terry added 10 points off
the bench for the defending champs, who have lost two straight.
