GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Police say they are searching for a man in black who held up a Creston neighborhood bank.
It happened around 5 p.m. Monday at the My Personal Credit Union in the 1300 block of Plainfield Ave. NE.
Detectives say the man walked up to a teller in the credit union and implied he had a gun in his pocket. He walked out with the money and headed north on Plainfield.
Police describe the suspect as a man wearing a dark jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans with a design on the rear pocket area. He also wore a mask during the robbery.
Officers are looking for the man, but lost their track of him around 5:15 p.m.
A business across the street from the credit union showed us its security camera recordings of the suspect. We'll have more from them tonight on WZZM 13 News at 11 p.m.
