(WKYC)- The average Polish Fat Tuesday paczki --pronounced POONCH-key -- is 400-700 calories, depending on what kind of filling is inside.

A typical 5-ounce, fried paczki contains about 420 calories, 25 or more grams of fat, and is loaded with refined carbohydrates, which are directly converted into fat. But some can be as much as 450 calories and 27 grams of fat.

Yikes! That's the equivalent to one McDonald's double or one McDonald's medium french fries...or even nine McDonald's chicken McNuggets, one Filet o' Fish sandwich, one Quarter Pounder without cheese, or one sausage McMuffin with egg.

A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips, don't you think?

Taking the average person and the 420-calorie average, you would need the following exercise to burn off just one, single paczki:

Three hours of brisk bowling
Three hours of piano playing
One hour of ice hockey (but not as the goalie)
Two and ½ hours of riding a snow blower
One and ½ hours of hand-shoveling snow
Two hours of vigorous ping pong
One and ½ hours of walking the dog briskly
Three hours of directing downtown rush-hour traffic, for a police officer
One hour of running at 5 mph
One hour on a stationary bike at a moderate speed
One hour of swimming laps continuously
One hour of high impact aerobics
One hour of very fast ballroom dancing
One hour of moderate cross-country skiing
One hour of ice skating laps in a rink
One hour of judo
One hour at moderate speed on a rowing machine
One hour moderately jumping rope
45 minutes of kick boxing
30 minutes of rollerblading
