KENTWOOD, Mich. (WZZM) -- Kentwood Police are investigating an accident that happened early Wednesday morning, shortly after midnight, at the intersection of 52nd and Broadmoor Avenue.
Police believe a car traveling east on 52nd Street failed to stop for a flashing red light. The driver of a semi-trailer was unable to avoid hitting the car.
The 22 year-old woman, who was driving the car, had to be extricated by firefighters. She is currently listed in serious condition.
