(WZZM) - We are not done with the snow yet, but it's not to early to start thinking about severe weather. The National Weather Service will conduct its Skywarn basic spotter training class for the season on Thursday, February 23.
Spotter relay important information about storms to the National Weather Service and law enforcement. This information helps in forecasting storms and in providing warnings to those in the path of the storms.
The class will be at the Grandville Middle School at 7:00pm. All participants are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for registration.
