1894 Mayo Cut Plug tobacco card of John Dunlop

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - A family clearing out an old farm house after a family member passed away came across quite a treasure.

According to Lou Brown, local sports card expert and owner of Legends Sports & Games at Woodland Mall, a box of football and boxing cards dating back to the 1890's contained one card in particular of great worth - an 1894 Mayo Cut Plug tobacco card of John Dunlop.  The card is known to the be the most valuable football card in existence.

The card will be graded and offered for sale in the near future, likely through a major auction house.
