GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Whoopi Goldberg, one of the headliners of LaughFest 2012, took the stage Friday night for a night of comedy.

Before the show, she made a surprise visit at a reception for LaughFest sponsors, meeting them and posing for photos.
Goldberg came to Grand Rapids on her tour bus from the east coast. "The View" co-host says she is looking forward to entertaining the crowd at GRCC.
WZZM 13's Lee Van Ameyde and Juliet Dragos introduced the comedian at her show.
