Recall the big cheesy mustache with awkwardly huge wire rimmed glasses and matching gold blazers! Everything old is new again at WZZM 13 as we Celebrate 50 Years of News, Weather and Questionable Hair Styles with our returning Guest Anchors in May.
On Monday, May 7th and Tuesday, May 8th, Veteran Newsman, Lee Van Ameyde will lead the team of former co-workers, including well known and respected Meteorologist Craig James, wildly popular Sportscaster, Sam Hooks and all around super nice guy and long time West Michigan News Anchor, Barry Shanley. Then on the following Monday, May 14th and Tuesday, May 15th we welcome back News Veterans, Dave Whitford, Guy Gordon, Mary Eilleen Lyon and John Keating (formerly known as Steve Knight).
These teams are the original and most recognized News teams in West Michigan, reunited once again with a back-in-the-day flavor and feel to bring you the day's News, Sports, and Weather with the added bonus and flair of nostalgic fun!
