Murder suspect in Mississippi, Glen Joseph Davis may be in West Michigan

UPDATE AT 4:50 P.M., JUNE 26 (WZZM) -- Police in Mississippi believe a suspect in a murder in that state may still be in West Michigan.

Police in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, say Glen Davis may still be in the Grand Rapids-Allegan-Kalamazoo area, where he has friends.

Davis' case was recently profiled on the Lifetime network series America's Most Wanted.

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - The U.S. Marshals and other West Michigan law enforcement agencies are searching for a murder suspect from Mississippi who may be in the area.

Glen Joseph Davis, 42, is a white male with blonde hair and blue eyes, 5' 9", 190lbs.  He has a felony warrant for his arrest in Mississippi for stealing a vehicle, but is also wanted in questioning in a murder investigation. 

Davis was last seen driving a red, 2-door, 2005 Hyundai Accent with Mississippi plate KAA982.

Police say that Davis has ties to friends in the Grand Rapids metro area, Allegan County, and Kalamazoo County.  They do believe that he is in West Michigan.  His criminal history includes burglary, fraud, escape and extortion and is considered to be armed and dangerous.
