GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- The Music Bullet is a mini, portable speaker that plugs in to any mobile device that's supposed to deliver big, quality sound with "kickin'" bass.

I got some expert help from DJ Jimmy Coe, a popular DJ at Grand Rapids nightclub The Woods. We tested it out on our iPhone and laptop to see if it really would deliver high quality sound.

We were pretty impressed. Compared to the tiny speaker on my iPhone, the Music Bullet seemed to carry the sound better. On my iPhone, the sound seemed all treble, where the Music Bullet definitely boosted the bass. Jimmy said it's like a tiny one-inch subwoofer.

The commercial boasts the Music Bullet will give you a 1000% increase in concert-like quality sound. It wasn't THAT good, but it is nice for small spaces if you're getting ready in the bathroom, or it's great for at the beach or patio.

It comes with a USB cord to charge its lithium ion battery. We found it at Walgreens and Wal-Mart for $9.99. Jimmy said for the price, it's worth it.
