Video: Monday morning storms - Noon Report

Cascade Road - 6/18

UPDATE - (CASCADE TWP) - A man was injured with just a cut on his hand after a tree landed on his car as he drove down a busy road.

The man was headed west on Cascade Road when the tree landed on his car.  WZZM 13's Peter Ross is at the scene and says that the man was fortunate to just suffer a hand injury.

We have reports of lines down and tree limbs across road throughout the area.  There are sporadic power outages and street lights out throughout the area as well.

(WZZM) - Heavy downpours and frequent lightning have been hammering West Michigan much of the morning.

As of 10:00am, a Flood Advisory had been issued for Muskegon and Oceana Counties.

WZZM Photojournalist took the attached photo of Sherman Blvd. and Torrent Street in Muskegon at 10:00am.
