SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities say a 3-year-old girl has apparently drowned at a Lake Michigan beach in southwestern Michigan.
Police say they got a call Wednesday night that the girl was missing in the South Beach area of South Haven. She was found by a swimmer before officers arrived and CPR was performed at the scene. The girl was taken to an area emergency department, where she was pronounced dead.
The child's name wasn't immediately released.
