Media versus priests in the 2012 Let's Go to Bat for Kids charity softball game.
COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WZZM) -- Local media personalities and priests put on their gloves Thursday night for a friendly game of softball.
This is the 25th year for Let's Go to Bat for Kids, an annual fundraiser for Catholic Charities West Michigan.
WZZM 13's Juliet Dragos, Brent Ashcroft, Dan Harland, Sarah Sell and Jennifer Pascua pitched, hit and fielded at Fifth Third Ballpark -- hoping to end the priests' 23-game win streak.
In the third inning, Juliet also helped honor two sets of foster parents for their work.
No awards for the media team, though -- they fell to the Padres, 20 to 13.
