HOWARD CITY, Mich. (WZZM)--- A former middle school principal is facing felony charges in connection to missing booster money.
William Cichewicz turned himself into police on June 20. He's charged with embezzling between $1,000 and $20,000 from Tri County Middle School. In a letter posted on the district's website, Cichewicz admits to taking $1,350 from accounts for the school's store. He says he's leaving the school, but plans to return the stolen money.
If convicted of embezzlement, Cichewicz faces up to five years in prison.
