GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Miles Smith has learned a lot in his quest of more than a year and a half to turn his idea into a business, and in the process, he hasn't been able to fish as much as he likes.
Which is ironic, because his invention is for fishermen.
Smith, who just turned 22 and will graduate next year from Grand Valley State University with a degree in marketing and international business, is about to pull off his first, limited-production run of his Break Away Hook Release System.
