Draymond Green smiles with kids at a Grand Rapids basketball camp at MVP Fieldhouse Monday

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- Draymond Green pretty much did it all in his Michigan State career. Final Fours. Big Ten Player of the Year. First-team All-American. Now, only one thing is left: to become the first Spartan since 2006 to be selected in the NBA draft's first round. "Lately, I've been hearing (somewhere between) 19-26," Green told WZZM on Monday. "That can always go up, it can always go down. It depends on what a team needs, how the draft plays out. We're hearing there's going to be a lot of trades so you just never know."

Green was in Grand Rapids Monday making an appearance at Dr. Charles Tucker's basketball camp at MVP Fieldhouse. This is the 35th year of the Lansing-based camp, but the first time it's being held in Grand Rapids.

Green recently was named the Big 10's Jesse Owens award winner as the top male athlete in the conference. That caps an outstanding career at MSU for the Saginaw native, who says he didn't know his MSU years would be so successful.

"You always hope for the best and you think you can do the best but when you think about things like that it seems so far-fetched. Did I have two Final Fours in my head? Of course, I go to Michigan State. That's what we do. But other than that, no. I love Michigan State. It's been great to me for the last four years. Once a Spartan, always a Spartan so even though I'm moving on to a new chapter in my life, (MSU) will always be home."
