UPDATE 11:30 am - The fire at Kamps Pallets in Walker is now under control. WZZM 13's Peter Ross is on the scene and says the fire was contained to a drying building. He says fortunately Kamps employees and fire fighters were able to stop the flames from spreading to the large surrounding area, which is filled with pallets.
WALKER, Michigan (WZZM) - Fire fighters are on the scene of a business fire on Peach Ridge.
Kent County Dispatchers say the fire is at a pallet facility in the 2900 block of Peach Ridge, near 3 Mile Ave. Kamps Pallets is located at that address.
The call came in about 10:50 am Tuesday.
The Walker Fire Department is responding.
