JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- A home went up in flames just after 9 p.m. Wednesday night. The house was located in the 3900 block of Sunbrook Court in Jamestown Township.

The fire consumed the house quickly, and smoke could be seen from miles away.

Authorities say the family got out safely, but the home is a total loss.
