Grand Rapids man finishes first in Reeds Lake Run

EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM)-More than 800 runners tried to beat the heat Saturday morning while competing in the 34th annual Reeds Lake Run 10k in East Grand Rapids.

Richard Kessio, 38, of Grand Rapids was the first male finisher, while 22-year-old Rachel Patterson of Rochester won the women's race.
