SPARTA, Michigan (WZZM) - Police are investigating a man who fell from or through a roof in Sparta.
38 year old Brian Tarachanowicz fell about 10:20 am Monday at 200 Maple in Sparta, which is a Federal Mogul facility.
Sparta Police say Tarachanowicz worked for Black River Builders and was contracted to do some work on the facility. Police say he fell about 30 feet from the roof and landed on the concrete floor below. Investigators say it appears he stepped on a weak part of the roof and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say it appears to be a construction accident and nothing more.
