GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - If you want to support Michigan-made products, you have a wealth of choices for Michigan-made craft beers.
Michigan.org lists 102 breweries across the state, and there is at least one more that we know of (Harmony Brewing of Grand Rapids) that isn't on the Michigan.org list. There are also more breweries under construction with openings expected later this year.
For the month of July, Buffalo Wild Wings is promoting Michigan craft beers. Buffalo Wild Wings regional manager, Jeff Carmody tells WZZM 13, "Our consumers, that's what they want. They want to try different things. Things that taste different from the norm. And we have a lot of great brewers from Bells, all the way up to Shorts Brewery and Founders here locally and New Holland as well."
Another Michigan pub, the Mitten Bar in Ludington, goes a step further. They only sell Michigan made beers, wines and liquors.
