WYOMING, Mich. (WZZM)-A former Wyoming soccer coach who was charged with having inappropriate contact with a junior varsity player is a free man.
A jury Friday found Rey Rivera not guilty of accosting a minor for immoral purposes. Rivera was a part-time girls' soccer coach at Rogers High School. The investigation began in April 2011 when a teenager went to administrators with the allegations, which cost Rivera his job. It's unclear if Rivera will be reinstated as a coach.
