GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation continued its celebration of President Ford's 99th birthday Saturday with a wreath-laying ceremony.
Three tribute wreaths were placed on President Ford's tomb outside the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum Saturday morning. The wreaths were laid on behalf of President Obama, President Ford's former cabinet and the Ford family.
July 14 marks President Ford's official birthday, though the foundation honored him on Friday as well with a lecture by Brent Scowcroft, who was his National Security Advisor. President Ford passed away on Dec. 26, 2006.
