MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - Police in Muskegon arrested three teens they say broke into J and R Guns on Getty Street.
The break-in was discovered early Saturday morning when the owner arrived to open the store for the day.
The teens' are believed to have taken nine handguns. They got into the store through a smashed window. Wires to a security camera just above the window were also cut.
Other security cameras inside the store show one of the teens grabbing guns from a display case and ammunition from a shelf.
They were arrested early Sunday morning when a Muskegon Police officer spotted one of the teens standing outside the building while the other two were inside. Police suspected the group might return to steal additional guns.
The 16-year old and two 17 year-old boys will be charged as adults on Tuesday. Their names will be released following their arraignment.
