MONTCALM TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Deputies say a Montcalm County woman arrived at her home to find a suspicious vehicle parked nearby, then walked in on a burglary in process in her house.
The incident happened Tuesday morning at the victim's home on West Peck Road near M-91.
The homeowner told investigators she arrived home and spotted a black older model Ford pickup parked nearby. She then went inside her home and hear a loud noise from the bedroom area. The woman also noticed items left in the kitchen for a trip were missing.
The woman left the house can called 911. Montcalm County deputies and Greenville Public Safety officers checked the house and the area around it. They could not find any suspects, and the Ford pickup was gone.
