Due to Thursday's rain out ... here's a "best of" collection of our past lawnmower races! The cheating .. the fighting ... the scandal ... from Producer Joe of WGRD to Sports guy Dan Harland to Flounder from Thunder 94.5 - we've had some controversial competitions over the years!

This year the pros race at the Paul C. Miller Airport at 9100 Vinton Avenue in Sparta again!  Gates open at 3pm & the Lawn Mower Race is off at 5pm. On Sunday, July 22 gates open at 11:30am and racing commences at 1pm at Paul C. Miller Airport on Vinton Avenue. Bring your lawn chairs to relax with the whole family while enjoying the races!

Cost is $5.00 per person, 12 year of age

Documentary premiere of "On Your Mark, Get Set, Mow!" takes place Friday night at 8pm at the Sparta High School Auditorium - it's free to the public. This film is about lawn mower racing on the "cutting edge" in the challenging battle of Huntington Disease.100% of the proceeds support Huntington Disease Research.
