Grass fires still a burning issue

PLAINFIELD TWP., Mich. (WZZM) - The recent rains do not mean that risk of grass fires has ended in West Michigan.

A grass fire started Friday afternoon along US-131 south of Pine Island Drive.  Several other fires have been reported in scanner traffic.

People are still urged to use caution with outdoor fires.
