AURORA, Colo. (WZZM)-We're learning more about how James Holmes amassed all the weapons he used in a deadly shooting spree at a Colorado theater.
Police say Holmes legally obtained four guns in the past 60 days, as well as 6,000 rounds of ammunition, which he bought on the Internet. He was dressed in full black wearing a helmet, bullet resistant vest, and armor around his throat and legs, as well as black gloves. Other reports say Holmes was wearing a gas mask.
Although local military surplus stores say they do not offer body armor, WZZM 13 found it very easily on the Internet.
