Citizens with concealed carry permits may carry handguns into theaters, provided the theater has fewer than 2,500 seats and the theater owner has not prohibited firearms.
Concealed weapons permit holders still are banned from carrying guns into: schools; day care centers; sports arenas or stadiums; taverns; churches or other places of worship, unless the presiding official allows it; hospitals; a dormitory or classroom of a community college or university, and casinos.
