UPDATE (3:15 p.m.)- According to an updated news release, there were five people in the apartment at the time of the incident. A male visitor was the homicide victim, sustaining a single gunshot wound to the head.
Police also say that one of the men who lives in the apartment is the suspect and will be held at Kent County Correctional Facility. Charges are pending review from the Kent County Prosecutors' Office.
The name of the victim will not be released until his family has been notified.
The case is still being investiaged by the Grandville Police Department.
GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WZZM)- The Grandville Police Department says it is currently investigating a homicide that happened early Sunday morning.
It happened at Wimbledon Apartments in the 4200 block of Wimbledon in Grandville.
According to a news release, "Detectives are actively investigating and will release additional information as it becomes available. Person(s) of interest are being questioned."
