KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WZZM) -- A house on the 1700 block of Fulford Street was completely destroyed by a fire early Sunday morning. Kalamazoo Public Safety officers who were in the area just before the fire was reported say that they heard a loud explosion.
The fire began at about 12:40 a.m. and the house was completely engulfed in flames when officers arrived at the scene. The house collapsed within minutes of Kalamazoo Public Safety arriving. A neighboring house sustained minor damage as well.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No one was injured in the incident.
