HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) - A lakeshore restaurant will stay closed until the health department can figure out what made around 150 people sick.
Margarita's Mexican Restaurant closed voluntarily over the weekend after reports of customers with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Since Saturday around 150 people have reported getting sick after eating at the restaurant.
The Ottawa County Health Department says samples were sent for testing Monday and results could come as soon as Tuesday.
The restaurant's owner says his staff has been working to clean and sanitize everything in the business. Right now, the restaurant is closed indefinitely.
