GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after losing control of his bike on I-96 in Kent County.
The accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. Monday near the Plainfield Avenue exit.
Grand Rapids Police say a motorcycle rider was hauling a trailer behind his motorcycle when he lost control and the trailer detached from the bike.
A car saw the trailer and swerved to avoid it. But, that car rolled over in the process. The driver of the car was not hurt.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
