EUREKA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - Several people have been arrested in connection with a meth lab and vehicle fire in Montcalm County.
Sheriff's deputies say a man who was arrested on an outstanding warrant from a vehicle fire in May led investigators to a meth lab that he had disposed of on the Heartland Trail, behind the Flat River Historical Museum in Greenville. Deputies, along with Greenville Public Safety Officers, found the meth production components with hazardous waste at the site. The Central Michigan Enforcement Team and a Hazardous Materials team disposed of the lab.
The man is charged with five felony counts. Deputies say that several others have been arrested for their involvement with this lab and more arrests are pending.
