UPDATE: Holland Police search for missing man

HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) - Holland Police say that Paul French was seen later Tuesday morning, but is still missing.

Police say Mr. French was seen Tuesday morning driving his Buick LeSabre southbound on M-40 near Hamilton at a very slow speed causing traffic to back up. One witness said he recognized Mr. French after passing him near Hamilton.

French suffers from Diabetes and Dementia and he does not have his medication with him. He has only lived in Holland since April of this year and is originally from the Bangor area and former neighbors at his previous address in the 2800 block of 63rd Street have been made aware of his missing status as well in case he shows up there.

HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) -- Police are searching for an elderly man with dementia who has been missing since Tuesday morning.

Officers say Paul French, 86, has been missing from his Holland home since approximately 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.  His car is also missing from his home.

French recently moved to Holland from the Bangor area.

Family members say French likes to spend time at fast food restaurants, public parks and bodies of water.

Because of his dementia, family members say they are concerned for his well-being.

French is 5'6", about 150 lbs. and has thinning gray hair.  His vehicle is a brown 1996 Buick LeSabre with Michigan disabled license 3400G0.
