GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - The Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce has named their top ten finalists for the ATHENA Young Professional Award - and one of WZZM's own is one of them.

Weekend Anchor/Reporter and Multimedia Journalist Jennifer Pascua is one of the finalists in the award that recognizes an emerging leader for their contributions to "community, professional excellence, and commitment to serve as a personal and professional role model to young women."

The final announcement will be part of the ATHENA Award Celebration set for Tuesday, September 18 at the JW Marriott International Ballroom.  The top ten ATHENA Young Professional Award finalists will be honored along with Gemini Editor Carole Valade, the 2012 ATHENA Award recipient, during the luncheon.
