30 vehicles broken into near Grand Haven

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WZZM) - Ottawa County deputies are reminding drivers to lock up their vehicles after 30 break-ins recently.

The crimes started July 22 and typically take place overnight. Deputies say the thieves usually target unlocked vehicles parked between Robbins Road, Lake Michigan Drive, and Lakeshore Drive to the east side of Grand Haven Township.

So far, they've gotten away with about $1,000 worth of electronics and a handgun.
