FRUITPORT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - The 13-year-old girl who caused an unforgettable crash in the Lakes Mall parking lot will not face charges.
The chief trial attorney for Muskegon County says a teenager inside the car dropped her cell phone and when she reached for it, she hit the shifter, putting the car in drive. The attorney says the girl had the air conditioner on and the radio up, so she couldn't hear the vehicle running.
The car hit two vehicles then backed up and over the front of a parked car.
No one was seriously injured.
