GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - It's easy to find London Olympics results just about anywhere, but the hard part is staying up late enough to actually watch the action.

The WZZM 13 Morning Team is on the extreme end of early risers and we don't make it too far into the beginning of prime time coverage. But the most anticipated events seem to air just as most people are getting ready for bed.

Some people in the community we caught up with say they can't stay up past 10 p.m., or they won't make it through the work day.  One woman says she DVR's everything and watches the next morning.

But former Olympian steeplechaser and current Calvin College track and cross country coach Brian Diemer says he tunes in every night despite an early wake-up call.  He says it brings back all the emotions from when he competed in the 80's.

"I see them, I see their parents, I see the teammates really enjoying the moment, just getting really excited. I remember all of that and that brings back a flood of memories. So I don't want to miss that."

"If swimming and diving is on, I'll definitely stay up late to watch it," said Julianna Ederer, who also stayed up to watch women's gymnastics.

Tracy Cool and Marilyn Bradley said, "I can't stay up that late. I got to get up too early in the morning, and go to work, I try to stay up until 9:30, 10, and then I'm done."

"I'm really excited about men's soccer...Yes, definitely drink some more coffee, maybe some Monsters, we'll see." said Joshua Wileraham.
