Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Doug Fister tossed his fourth career complete game Saturday night at Comerica Park, as the Detroit Tigers beat the Cleveland Indians, 6-1, in the middle installment of a three-game series.

Fister (6-7), who took a perfect game into the sixth inning, gave up one run on four hits. The right-hander had six strikeouts and no walks.

Omar Infante and Jhonny Peralta had two RBI apiece for the Tigers, who have won three in a row.

Ubaldo Jimenez (8-11) gave up six runs on seven hits over 5 1/3 innings to take the loss for the struggling Indians, who have dropped a season-high eight straight games.

The Tigers trimmed a game off the White Sox' lead in the AL Central after Chicago lost 6-5 to the Angels in ten innings.
